Read what i wrote above. Google "Twisted pair cable" if you don't understand that part. As I wrote, if you cut open a real HDMI 1.4 cable you'd see two (already existing) lines are now  "wound up with one another". These are the lines the ethernet connection uses for noiseless high bandwidth data transmission. If you don't use the fancy ethernet stuff (in all likelihood >99% probability), you're all set with a good 1.3 cable.
