Maybe Capcom will move away from their incessant kowtowing to everything they perceive to be "Western?"

That would be heavenly. I won't deny that Inafune has done great things, but his petulant, disrespectful attitude has really made me lose a lot of sympathy for the man.
I was worried that Inafune san would screw up a possible Onimusha 5 but now we might get a Onimusha game soon that is not overly westernized.
Capcom has no more geniuses. Look at what happened when they tried to make DMC without Kamiya.
DMC3 is the best game in the series. Really.
Capcom's still got Tsujimoto (Monster Hunter), Kobayashi (DMC, RE4, Sengoku Basara), Takeuchi (Onimusha, Lost Planet, RE5), Ono (Street Fighter), Niitsuma (Capcom Vs), Takumi (Ace Attorney, Ghost Trick) and Eshiro (Okamiden). They're down for sure, but not out entirely.
You have a point, but that point only supports passable games outside of Monster Hunter. Capcom has always a niche company outside of fighters and now thats technically all they've got. :)
I dunno, The AA games are extremely well renowned and both Ghost Trick and Okamiden have been getting rave reviews. I'd say they're up there with MoHun and the fighters. Basara's growing pretty rapidly too, even if it's getting terrible reviews from the anti-Musou western press. They'll come around eventually though, like they did for Monster Hunter...
Though I'd have probably been better off leaving Takeuchi off the list. :P
