I agree, PS3 shouldn't be damned for selling in more countrys, it's a good idea and I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't copy it. X360 is pretty cheap, and would do well VS PS3 in these developing countrys.

I don't know how much each of the big 3 know about each others shipments, but if MS realise this noticeable jump shipping to those countrys and shrugs it off, then that's a bad business decision, though I'm not going to pretend I have a clue the difficultys of launching in those countrys might be though.

If the adjustments put PS3 in line with more accurate sales, then at the end of the day I'm happy, there is no point living in lala land preteding the 360 is whipping PS3's ass when shipments say otherwise, obviously as a passionate 360 fan I'd prefer to see it on top, and I'm dissapointed with their shipements for the Q. I only hope it's because they plan a big shipment of Kinect bundles for the xmas Q.

Microsoft doesn't have the same economies of distributing it in so many places. Sony has because it deals in so much hardware of all kinds, with MS and Nintendo, hardware is a relatively small part of their business. If MS had a huge TV business etc., they'd be all over those emerging markets.

Though even so, MS and Nintendo should be fighting for them. They may not be the biggest prize now, but the whole world economy is in the process of changing and if you're reliant on the US and Japan, that's tough for you..

A game I'm developing with some friends:

It is largely a technical exercise but feedback is appreciated.
