but how many times have we heard the stuffing channel exccuse only to see the gap to shrink in the shipment figures of the follwong quarter? last quarter they said sony over stufed ,,,yet sony shipped more than xbox yet again in this quarter.if the chanel is stuffed stores will not accept more shipment but much much less.

I wouldn't even say they've stuffed the channel. I just think they've shipped a lot more than MS has. Hence, MS is just meeting demand while Sony is shipping as much as they can.

Furthermore, we don't know what MS has shipped at the moment with the Kinect coming. This is a dumb thread and that's why this site focuses on sold as opposed to shipped.

apearently you don't understand how the shipping works.Sony can't just ship whatever they like to stores,,,the store puts in the order and sony ships as many as the store wanted.if a best buy ordered 10000 PS3s sony will ship 10000 and not 50000.So the store should have felt the demand for the number they ordered.How many quarters stores are gonna make a mistake and ask for more PS3 than there is demand??think about it.
