Also don't forget the massive adjustment we have seen here on VGChartz in the past. The PS3 sales got adjusted upwards for more than downwards over the years, if the original estimates weren't adjusted that would result in many more unaccounted for PS3 sales, in the millions!
IMO that demonstrates bias and an inability to learn enough from past mistakes. IMO too often clear evidence was simply ignored until there was no other option to react.
