I think theirs a good chance PS3 will never beat X-Box WW. Mainly because if Kinect is half the success Microsoft thinks it will be they will soar back out of Sony's reach. Move isn't enough to keep up with Kinect considering Oprah , Ellen and Justin Bieber are all among its supporters. Marketing wise Microsoft has secured first place for awhile if their campaigns fail and Kinect bombs then Sony has a shot by next winter.
But if Kinect takes off and millions upon millions go out to their stores and buy the Kinect Bundle suddenly Microsoft will widen the gap consistantly untill PS4 comes out. Don't under estimate the Kinect it has the potential to save Microsoft and really widen the gap between Sony and its closest competitor.
