xbox360 has tech that is around 6 years old, its really dated. Now you can play Nintendo games in your phone and now we are getting more Ps1 era games on our phones. It seems possible, they can gather parts of a 360 and find them smaller and build an device out. But the question remains is how you power the dam thing?? until they figure a way to run the thing at least 24 hours straight then no point. if they can figure that out then they can have an PS3 or 360 in your hand |
I dont care...I just hate when publications post topics like this without a shed of proof to stirr shit up for the sake of being quoted and getting more page visitors. Kotaku must be low on advertising revenue for the month.
Also, last thing I want to do is play 360 games (which are also PS3 games) on the go. Portable games need to be simpler than home console games and sony has yet to figure that out with the PSP...Maybe you can play a game like Gears of War while on a bus to school or work, but most people can not devote attention needed for that type of game and prefer to play something simpler. So it really seems pointless to me...
If Sony release PSP V2, and the only thing they add is more horsepower to the device, they are going to get eaten alive by nintendo, apple and windows mobile in the portable gaming market. Other than people posting on sites like this, no one cares how many teraflops a portable console can push.
