I never in my life believed I would actually hear someone else say this. For the last few years I've given up trying to understand the people who say "music is my life." music is wonderful but I can live without it. I don't go out of my way to listen to certain types of music, nor do I pretend (anymore) to actually give a whole crap about it. I really thought something was wrong with me. But I eventually learned to except it.

and as the years go by, I'm actually glad I never got into music as most of the world did. I'm doing wonderful in school but just barely keeping up with it because of my gaming addiction .Making music another habit would have put me on the streets right now.

In short, you're not alone.
