What they saw was Nintendo putting it out on the nonGaming mass market channels. So they copied this. However, Nintendo also went country wide and got people to play it for months after launch. I don't see MS doing this because it doesn't play as nicely as Wii did. That will be Kinect's fall. Wii was increadibly fun to play and Kinect thus far seems to have issues barring that same simple fun. |
You do realize that MS has had Kinect playable all over the world for a couple of months now. Give www.kinect.me a hit to see where you can go try it. They did this with prerelease software on prerelease hardware.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
