Sony Corp.’s Playstation Move controller for the Playstation 3 held an sold out status at Wal-Mart Stores Inc.’s online division this week due to high demand of the peripheral.

This week, the Playstation Move product page at Walmart.com disclaimed an out of stock status.

Additionally, this week the Playstation Move product page at GameStop.com disclaimed a ‘Backordered’ status.

Finally, this week the Playstation Move product page at Amazon.com disclaimed a ship time of two to four weeks.

And Kinect is sold out everywhere.  It's pretty amazing isn't it?  The peripheral hasn't even come out yet and it's sold out.  Wonder if that says anything...

And you can still get a Move controller at the store.  The post just shows how much online demand has increased and how markets will soon adjust.  You can also still get the $100 online, which shows that the demand for the Move isn't for a new emergin market for Sony, but that those who already have a Eye Toy are buying the Move.

This is are sad thate popel have to talk rbout kinect in Move thread. Sorny fanes would neever to do this thing in a kinect threadzzzz.

The OP comes from a poster who consistently believes that the PS3 will be great one day, meaning it will be above the 360.  I'm just making sure he doesn't forget his place and realize that's a fatasy world he lives in.

V:  And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. I know why you did it. I know you were afraid. Who wouldn't be? War, terror, disease. There were a myriad of problems which conspired to corrupt your reason and rob you of your common sense. Fear got the best of you, and in your panic you turned to the now high chancellor, Adam Sutler. He promised you order, he promised you peace, and all he demanded in return was your silent, obedient consent. Last night I sought to end that silence.
