Cats are random, and it makes them more interesting. I always wondered what my cats were up to. They always surprised me. And you keep saying cats are mean but my cats never attacked me or anyone else for no reason... And what about dog attacks that sometimes result even in death? Ever heard of a cat killing a man? I sure didn't! And loyalty/abandonment... Outdoor cats return to their owners but that doesn't mean anything to you? If they weren't liking their owner they wouldn't return. You have to earn your cat's love. It doesn't come so easily. But when a cat loves you it always comes back. Why do people keep their dogs on a leash? |
One of the reasons why dogs are so ''helpless'', is because in most cases you are the pack leader and they follow and listen to you because of that. Cats on the other hand don`t share that ''pack'' thing as much, so they are less dependant. Though it doesn`t go for every dog and cat of course, there are many variables that effect it.
There are laws to keep them on a leash here ;) Though I`ve never listened, my dog follows me when i want and even how I want ;) If I would close the front door before he gets in he would just wait and wait till I open it for him. He`s also smart enough to know how to get home and not to cross the street without permission. And I know many dogs who can walk themselves.
