I know this is essentially heresy, but I didn't even care for early Need for Speed. I haven't enjoyed what I've played of the GT franchise, and nothing about GT5 makes me think I will enjoy that. I would say that covers two of the best racing franchises in existence - some people just don't enjoy certain types of games, and there's nothing you can do to change that.
