Common misconception. Opinions can be wrong. I can easily say it is my opinion that 2 + 2 = 7 but I wouldn't be right.


But you'd be wrong in believing that's an opinion. Opinions are subjective beliefs, where a mathematical equation is objective and testable - indeed mathematic statements are the ultimate "non-opinions" in their ability to be proven true (not merely supported by facts).
