They went from being amazed at a power level of 9000 to having Goku have a power level of 150,000,000 when battling Frieza as a Super Saiyan - this was only part of the way in. By the end it just got absurd. |
I completely agree with this.
Really, Freeza was able to destroy (big) planets. Then Goku surpassed him. And after that there were androids who could defeat them easily, and then cell, then his better forms, then perfect cell, all of which orders of magnetude stronger than the last. They defeated them all. Then this guy comes and says "but this enemy is really strong, he could destroy an entire planet!". So what, by now Goku should be able to explode the sun with a fart.
