If cell phones start using this technology it will really take the wind out of Nintendo's sail.

Many cell phones will have a hard time adopting it, because it's not really compatible with touch technology. A finger or stylus over the 3D image ruins the 3D illusion.

So you can have a touchscreen or you can have a 3D screen. 3DS gets around the problem by having one of each, but I don't think many people will be interested in having a phone the same size as a DS.

So the only viable way to do it is to go back to the ol' keypad and trackball phones. I know if I had a choice between a bulky phone with a clunky interface and a 3D screen or a slim phone with a slick interface and a 2D screen, I'd stick with 2D. Looking at current cell phone trends, I don't think I'm alone here.
