hmm with only 1 million units shipped to all of the americas over a month after the release, I have a feeling that Sony just wanted to beat Microsoft out of the gate, whether or not they had enough supply at the release date. Sounds like they need a few more months of making these controllers before they have a chance to catch up to the demand... at least for stand-alone units since all of those stores have plenty of bundles.
