You know, the PS2 was quite an ugly console. But, I guess it's what's inside that counts. What was inside are some really good- maybe the best-gaming memories. Happy 10th birthday, big daddy!
Remeber when this console launched. I had a friend named Isaac that worked at Wal-Mart. I gave him the money to buy it. He wasn't a gamer but I assured him that this was a big deal! People are going to kill for one of these systems! He didn't take me seriously. He waited until time to go home and then tried to buy the console.
Bastard only came back with a copy of SSX. I read that manual 3000 times before I finally got my PS2 in March 2001. Still, when I got it, all of the heartbreak was forgiven.
