This is kind of a good news/bad news situation for the 360. If it had all these wonderful games and yet struggled to hold off the PS3 for 2nd, what happens when the PS3 has many more games available.

The Wii had the best year unless you mostly enjoy shooters and sports games.

Thats absolutly no different for sony, they had to cut price twice to keep up, what happens when MS can cut price and they cant?

 

I agree that Sony is not in any better shape.  Just don't underestimate the 360 hardware problems.  Its what's kept me from getting one.  Until I'm sure the issue is resolved (with new chipset or a changed design), I'm not going to touch it.  Hopefully M$ learned its lesson this time and doesn't make the same mistake again.
