good question, i would call real music a song made by someone with true talent (lyrically and/ or vocal) with a true meaning behind it 

yes  well i understand what your saying as in people complaining about manufactured/x factor type stuff,but people have always been complaining about that,they said that about the beatles,lol and bands they used to make fun of in the 80's are now classic

honestly i like alot of different music and sometimes just like to have a good time,i don't need meaning,i was also a big raver in my day and its not as esay as people might think to make so called electronic music,

there is a vast amount of music out there and humans really are quite incredible when it comes to making music/singing it seems never ending

how many people can do what mozart and all that classical mob did with orchestras and what not or modern film score makers

the pop charts and commercial radio is one thing and the world of music is another
