i had a feeling back in june that sony would add B/C to the PS3 around this time b/c ps2 was 10yrs old, it would of spured up ps3 sales, and there were all these fcc documents of the current new 2500 series ps3 back then, i guess i was wrong, i hope some day they add it its still a popular feature to add, on the PS blog
cant believe its still on the market either
i had alot of good gaming experiences with the ps2 more than any other console and the ps2 slim is really a technical marvel its so tiny and has very little intake and exhaust vents, i had to sell both my ps2 phat and slim back in 2007 to get a ps3 so i no longer have one 
but the 60gb PS3 that i bought back then does have B/C 
how long will main stream retailers still sell these? i believe till 2012
