9) Do not involve the FF12 team in this game or FF16......let them make a new console FF Tactics

23) Have 5 different unlockable characters....but only ONE can be unlocked in the game......each should have a whole new type of side story......this will mean you can play the game up to 5 times to see the new side characters side story, enhancing replay value.

I like these 2 things you suggested. FFXII was tactics-ish anyway so having the team which produced a great game (even if it wasn't all that final fantasy like) produce another around the Ivalice world would be great.

And the 2nd bit here is a nice idea. Give a different aspect to reply value for sure.

In regards to the 2nd bit, we could let each of those side characters have their side story linked to a specific town....and we could make that town only unlockable if we found that side character.

So this would mean that when you play the game again you have a chance to not only see a new character, but see a new town/place and experience its culture and specific side missions present there. If that is too much content to add and not practical having just 3 extra side characters is fine.....so at least you have the incentive to play the game 3 times and have hours of content in each playthrough that'll be a bit different than the last.

Can't see how it would be too much content. I mean first play through of any FF game I miss so much out because I didn't know about it or didn't bother looking because I didn't know to, they might as well have not included it. Only online guides lead me there. So having a specific character that takes you to this new area, without the use of a guide for more gameplay, is surely a good thing.

The replay value thing is the key. I haven't replayed FFXIII at all because I don't feel I can gain anything and can't have new experiences from it (maybe I can but running around doing killing missions got a bit boring). While older FF games there was lots to explore on the world map or in towns.

Oh that's another thing, more side quests and missions and game that are not just hunting missions, like FFXII and XIII had.

Hmm, pie.
