Several posters in this thread have already proven you wrong by citing several American products that are successful in Japan.  But simply put, "Such denial..."  You're just going to do it again regardless of reasoning.  If you are not going to believe that Japanese do support American products because it's what they want, then what's the pont to trying to reason with you?
