I shouldn't worry. We all find something that we like, no matter how old we are. Or so it seems. I buy more music today than I did as a kid, and that's not just because I'm richer (though I am -- considerably so), it's because there is so much more that appeals to me nowadays. Sure, it may not all be mainstream pop, but some of it is. Occassionally.
Doesn't change the fact that music seems to revolve in circles, modified by the most recent faddy technology, or whatever new trend is cooked up by those desperate to make a quick buck off the latest, contrived thing.
No matter what happens, good music is good music, and it will shine through. Sometimes it will be fresh and new to you, sometimes it will be a rehash of something you love, sometimes it will be a piece of manufactured crap that just takes your fancy. Personally, I don't worry about it: if I like it, I like it. That'll do for me, and I can't see it changing in the future.
