A lot of artists today put out great stuff from the studio, but they lack the true talent. We need someone like MJ or Freddie that can entertain and sing at the highest level at the same time. Most of the guys now days can only sing with assistance, so there live stuff sounds terrible. They also just don't see to have the same soulfulness of classic acts. Just watch Percy Sledge Belting out When A Man Love's A Woman back in the day.

i agree, we do need some true entertainers that can perform well, and i think why the soulful music is hard to find is because now practically everybody has access to a studio nowadays
