Within reason I don't think that violent video games, television, movies, music or comic books have a negative impact on children ...
With that said, I think it is foolish for any retailer to sell video games to minors that have a ESRB rating that indicates that it is inappropriate for their age group. I don't see it as denying content to minors as much as empowering parents to make informed decisions about the kinds of content their children are exposed to.
