You don't think multiplayer is an essential part? Well, I guess they didn't do it this time but before this, someone did. In the end, it's up to the publisher to decide what they want behind the lock and I'm sure multiplayer is one of those things that would require the online pass pretty soon if this became more popular.

Also, I wouldn't be so sure about used prices getting lower. It also means people get less when they sell the game, and they are less likely to sell it. Maybe prices will get lower but not nearly as much as you'd expect.

 


Do I think multiplayer is essential?  No, I don't touch it most games, even Madden.

And used prices will lower if 1) there's more competiion (Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, Amazon, etc) and if 2) people don't buy as many used games because they don't get as good of deals.
