I think the recommendations are good to go. But just in case you didn't know, Fallout is pretty much exactly like Oblivion, except it has guns, a new combat system (VATS, check it out) and different setting. So if you didn't like Oblivion you might not like Fallout (although Fallout is better in almost everyway, imho).
