It's the true FMA to say. Brotherhood follows the manga with very little changes. And yes there are big differences between FMA and FMA:Brotherhood.

Damn it's that different? I just found a new series to fill my One Piece void (watched from Episode 1 to present in about 60 days).

OT: Gundam Wing, DragonBall, Cowboy Bebop, Samurai Champloo, Trigun, One Piece, Naruto.
