If the games are good nowadays, I feel it's more about the quality of all the content that's involved in the game or if I actually feel something, it's toward the authenticity in the environment of X game and not so much in the actual fun factor or wtv that's missing as you mentioned. Something is missing, but really I think that something is just in you. (as it is in me lol, i'm not trying to insult you)

Yea you are prolly right. I'm hyped for GT5 though can't wait for that. I like the way you put it though
