In Santa Monica's case:
- They didn't release GoW2 for PS2 until 2007. Then came GoW3 development.
- During GoW2 and 3 Development, SMS had their hands in a number of other projects such as:
----- Fat Princess, Warhawk, GoW: Betrayal, flOw, Chains of Olympus, deTuned, Linger in Shadows, which leads to my next point,
- SMS, just like insomniac, GG and ND, all aid in the development of other SONY games from SONY 1st and second parties. SMS arguably contributes more than any other team. They simply don't have the ego-trips over it as much as say Naughty Dog or Insomniac.

Yeah I know all of Sonys american studios have been helping each other out. My point is Insomniac have produced so many PS3 games that the statement Ted made even though he was referring to when Tools of Destruction released has a lot of merit. These guys have made more games for the PS3 than any other studio releasing for the PS3. When they say they know the PS3 better than any studio it has games to back that statement up. Also Insomniac have been sharing technology and helping other studios for years aswel.
