I have an XBOX and I really enjoyed playing HALO and PAINKILLER and other shooters with my keyboard/mouse adapter (from LIK SANG at the time).
A short throw, self centering joystick is exactly what you don't want if precision means anything in your shooters. If you think otherwise, jump in a helicopter where the pilot uses a short throw, self centering joystick to land.
I would like to get BIOSHOCK on a console, but not until I can use a keyboard/mouse (or hey, the Wii-mote/nunchuck).
Doesn't matter what the software is, the 360 doesn't even add up to the XBOX for me, and that's totally due to control.
