Yeah, I know Ultimate Nick Fury.  He's the root of all of this.  But you don't see Ultimate Ironman, Ultimate Captain America, or Ultimate Wolverine being accepted as the mainstream version.  The comics (the 616 Universe Marvel) are the gospel in my opinion.  Ultimate Marvel is basically a huge "What If" story.  They have some cool twists (like Gal Ak Tus) but the mainstream Marvel--the one that most people are going to know (Movies, Cartoons) should try to follow the "real Marvel" Universe as much as possible.  I don't see the point of making Fury a black guy just for the hell of it.

I like Sam Jackson as much as the next guy but he's no "Shaft", "Jedi", or "Nick Fury".  I'm tired of this motha' fuckin' snake in these motha' fuckin' parts!

The Spiderman movies kinda feel like Ultimate Spiderman if you ask me.  I mean, I may be wrong but I thought regular Spiderman started off in college.
