I didn't know that Dance Central was the only Kinect game. Sure, if you look at what Kinect games people say they are interested in it may seem so, but I thought there were games like "Joy Ride" as well. Some reviewers might not see why it's necessary to play a game standing up while your avatar is sitting in a car...

And I've already explained a number of times what "Kinect games CAN be played while sitting down - if the game has been designed for you to do so" actually means - but I'll do it again once more:

The Kinect software library provided by Microsoft only supports a maximum of two active players, they must be standing up, and it has the huge lag that people are criticising. Developers can of course decide not to use Microsoft's software library (thereby avoiding these limitations) but that practically means that they have to reinvent the wheel, that they have to do all the data-processing by themselves, that they have to reimplement something that Microsoft has already implemented, something they spent dozens of man-years of research and work on. It's simply not really an option for most games. For example, if the game uses a skeleton representation of the player's body (and pretty much all Kinect games do), then there is practically no alternative to using the Kinect software library. "Your shape" is the only of the 17 launch titles that I know of where the developers chose not to use the Kinect software library.
