From Sony's perspective, once a unit has been SOLD from them to the retailers, it is sold, despite the fact that it is being shipped to a retailer where it will be sold once more.
It's like saying that a video game still counts as being shipped after you buy it from the store, while you drive home with it.
Edit: On topic: Grats, pretty decent number and fairly in line with VGChartz predictions I believe.
