Afterall, with all these units shipped and with the problems finding them at retail.. Where would you proclaim the missing units are ? I heavily doubt that retailers are hiding the controllers.. :p Though the bundles are available most places.. So they might have shipped more bundles than necessary compared to standalone controllers.. |
I pre-ordered a controller. Already had a camera and none of the initial titles struck me as being "must buy."
I downloaded the Move update for Heavy Rain and ordered a copy of RE5 Gold and that was it for the launch.
But so far, no Move "game sales" from this consumer. I will be picking up a copy of Sports Champions eventually, possibly a starter pack since I need another controller and the extra camera is only $10.
For the record, I've yet to see a standalone controller on shelves at retail since launch, so I guess they're hiding pallets of unsold units stacked in store rooms.
Or as the crazy tinfoil hat wearing conspiracy theorist might say; SCE simply hasn't been shipping enough controllers to meet current demand.
