| Packie said: Conan and Lana (also known as "3adnan wa lina" in the middle east) was my first ever ghibli experience and my god do I love that show to death! It got everything. a well realised post-apoclyptic setting, great story, fluid and beautiful animation for its time, funny and memorable characters. I honestly can't think of another animated show or movie that I remember so fondly of. Oh the memories. |
Well, technically Studio Ghibli was born many years after Mirai Shonen Conan was produced, actually even after Nausicaa.
But I get what you're saying: it's still Miyazaki, and it was filled with his aesthetics in all details and his sensibility in the chracters and plot.
I'll agree and check one for that wonderful anime too as my first great "Ghibli" experience. It was so different from everything else...
