Best selling.
suprised at all saying similar, i remeber how dumb the vast majority of peeps on here were about GT5 sales potential.

The 'dumb' will be shown when the game comes out and sales a certain amount. Lest we forget that 60% thought the 360 would never again outsell the PS3 any week worldwide. Polls prove nothing.
|
Lest we forget how many PS3 exclusives have already been underestimated?
In other words, wait and see.
|
So basically the same thing I said. Notice I never said PS3 exclusives hadn't been underestimated either. Indeed polls prove nothing.

As with the post you quoted, you're argument is something that can be proven wrong as well, hence why you were quoted. It's a wait and see situation. And I didn't say you said anything about PS3 exclusives, it's just a counter-point.
|
My argument is that we'll know when the game comes out and not sooner, so I don't see anyone being able to prove that wrong unless there's someone who can predict the future. Don't see any need for a counter point either.
|
You said the "dumb" will be shown when the game launches and sells a "certain amount". Unless you were elaborating, and agreeing, on/with the poster you quoted, you countered what he was saying. I countered what you were saying, that's called a debate. Doesn't matter what you see a need for (especially since the same can be said of your initial quote).

I said the "dumb" ones will be shown according to the actual sales, the person I quoted said x people are dumb for doubting GT5's selling potential. If you read my argument, you can see why it's made. I didn't agree with him, otherwise I could have not made the argument that we'll know who the "dumb" ones are after the game is actually selling. And like I said, it's a pretty solid argument since as far as I know, people cannot predict the future.
The reason I didn't see a need for your counter (not really a counter) was that I never argued or even slightly implied anything against it at all. It was just some random statement from you about something unrelated to my point.
