| evolution_1ne said: ok this is right up my alley, as a hardcore fps fan, this generation has taken cheap gameplay and made it standard. cheap game play tactics are tactics that give a unfair advantage to a player. now to me I can only name 2 TACTICS as cheap, and that's camping and spamming. camping gives and unfair advantage of readiness to the camping player over others and that's cheap. spamming takes an powerful object within the game and overuse it, this varies based on games. it's cheap, rockets in halo.....everything mw2, |
I appreciate the post. To the bolded part, one could say that the camper has the disadvantage of his position being known. IMO, an unfair advantage would be one that couldn't be countered. Would it be wise of a camper to just continually run around the map, running and gunning in the open?
As far as the rockets in Halo, they are there for the taking. If you get them and use them on me first, god bless.
I'm also not trying to be a prick with any of this either. I personally try to use the flow of the game and the other player's tactics dictate more of what I do. I'm not really against anyone using any tactics so long as they are tactics available to everyone who plays the game, IF they choose to employ them. I know I get pissed sometimes with what other player's are doing BUT again, I try to look at myself too, what did I do to make it so easy for them.
I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.
