Compared to many other religions (arguably most other religions) Christianity has always been a very tolerant religion, and it is one of the reasons it was such a successful religion. The Catholic Saints and the religious celebrations demonstrate this quite well being that many of the saints are pagan deities and the celebrations are full of pagan practices, and the church grew through peaceful integration with other religions.

I don't think anyone was claiming that these ideas of tolerance were invented by Christianity, but they have been at the forefront of "Christian" countries for hundreds of years; and were typically a part of these societies through much of their history.

That has got to be the stupidest thing I've ever heard of! What saints are pagan deities? And how did the Christianity peacefully integrate itself with other religions considering that Christians persecuted and killed non-Christians, or forced them to convert?

It only took me a couple of seconds to google it.

Aha, I must admit they didn't teach that at religious classes (and I was never Catholic FTR). More proof for me that Christianity is all made up.
