For some reason, I’m playing it again.

I know everything that’s going to happen, so it’s not because I’m trying to find some secret I never got before. The combat system is very much old and dated, so it’s not because I find the combat to be still satisfying. The graphics are obviously unappealing to the eye, so it’s not because I like looking at the game. I finished the game a few months ago, so it isn’t a nostalgia trip.

So what is it? I guess I just like the characters and the world so much… I don’t know, playing it makes me feel like I’m part of their world. There’s no other game that can make me feel this. Why is it that the characters of this game are so much more endearing than any other game created?

On another note: I HATE so-called “RPGs” that have NO WORLD MAP.

Edit: I did play this game on the PSone about 12 years ago or something. Then I downloaded it on  my PS3, and played it again a few months ago. Then I I'm playing it again now.

I feel the same way for the characters/full game experience. It's a full story, that, if you're allowed time to fully dive into it, is the most proper experience of a video game you can feel. Love, hate, revenge, worldly apocalypse, its the full package, with side quests (and now full side games, sequels and prequels). Yeah it gets a lot of buzz, both people rooting for and against it. But, its a worthy game to be talked about, because games these days just don't come near in comparison to the emotions provided by this game.

All of this, of course, is just my opinion.

Skyrim 100%'d. Dark Souls 100%'d.
Dark Souls > Skyrim.
Halo 4 is the best damn FPS since Halo 3.
