Both turn out to be proftiable methods in the end because microsoft can get the word out more and expect massive sales for one title but sony just has more games for people to buy. What do you guys think of this? Which method do you prefer more? |
Honestly your comment above whether true or untrue comes across as more opinion then fact as you have not presented any links that might be used as evidence.
BOTH COMPANIES spend TONS marketing games- Sony might spend more money in some parts of the world then others - Same for Microsoft. Where's your evidence Sony spends more? If Sony spends more making games.. Then how do you explain Microsoft has quite a few more games on their console then Sony does .. Unless You're factoring in comments from developers that it takes them more time and money to make the same similar quality game for the PS3 then it does for the 360. MS over the lifetime of both consoles has sold almost 8 Billion (dollars) more in just games alone with only a 5 million console lead ..
*Xbox 360-library= 642 titles .... total number of games sold worldwide= 388.01 million
*PS3---------library= 484 titles .... total number of games sold worldwide= 262.09 million
