If Crysis2 and Gear of War3 graphics can run on 360 than I highly doubt this game wont be achievable also
face it, why alienate 2 million other potential customers just because of some fanboy who obviously thinks about himself rather than the company(nomura)....fire him and hire Sakaguchi again
Crysis 2 and Gears of War 3 are going to be very linear experiences, much like FFXIII was. Final Fantasy Versus XIII... Isn't.
World Map. Towns. Airship travelling. Oceans. Cloud forming (Or whatever it's supposed to be) Seamless transition between traveling and fighting. Not Linear. Actually looks better than FFXIII did, despite being non-linear.
Honestly, look at it.
It looks better than FFXIII, it's a far bigger game than FFXIII, and it's open world, which FFXIII wasn't.
This game if released on 360, would probably be 4/5... Maybe 6 Discs. There is just THAT MUCH content.
Could it run on the 360? Yeah. Sure. But it will be a compressed, inferior version like FFXIII was, and it would be on a LOT of discs...
Maps take up hardly any space. It's the CGI cutscenes that are the reason that FF games take up so much space.
Your correct, and there was atleast 2.5gb worth of space not used on the 3 Final Fantasy XIII discs for Xbox 360. The only version of FFXIII that was gimped was the Xbox 360 one.

Red Dead Redemption looks better than that and it features pretty much all of the above. Halo Reach and Alan Wake's large amount of atmospheric effects which are quiet demanding rape a couple of Volumetric clouds that Nomura is more than likely talking about.
Red Dead Redemption ended up looking much better and performing better on the Xbox too.
Don't buy any of this Square-Enix hype, they've been the least trustworthy company this gen and the staff constantly contradict eachother. I feel they're to scared to be honest with their fans because the majority are overly loyal to Sony and too sensitive about the console wars and exclusivity. The amounts of "I feel like commiting suicide" when FFXIII was announced multi-platform that I saw on Gamefaqs was lul worthy.
