If bundled games are counted (and they are) they should count Alan Wake. If they can track how many bundled copies of Forza 3 are sold they should just include the same amount for Alan Wake. This is different than other downloaded games where VG doesnt have anyway to get that information. If you buy one of these bundles you get Alan Wake.
Also like someone else said earlier this is a good idea to make it free to download. Costs far less to produce and also exposes people to other downloadable content.
Its libraries that sell systems not a single game.
