I think Ushiro got canned because horror RPGs just aren't a big sell. I mean, SMT/Persona does like 150-200k these days and it's the biggest one... I'm pretty skeptical that Time Travelers will do what Hino expects either.
Being a PSP project probably didn't help Ushiro either.
