Fortunately it's a Tales Of.
I understand that it's sad that Namco send another JRPG to die if it's confirmed to be a XB360 exclusive, timed or not. But that's Namco habits. They'll never learn it seems.
At least people, before melting down, look to see if it's a good Tales Of.
Most Tales Of are not actually good. Though I think this one has Team Symphonia as developers.

...YOUR opinion maybe...

But remember that, regardless of many Tales of games which are made by different studios, this game is probably being made by Namco Tales Studio, the same team that made Tales of Symphonia (my 2nd fav. game of all time) and Tales of The Abyss (my fav. game of all time), with the later being underrated. If it's true that NTS is making Tales of Vesperia, this game WILL be great at the very least.

HEY! Many people here don't seem to get the advantage of this particular game being on the Xbox 360. Tales of games rarely come to America! Since this game will be on the 360 (exclusive or not) it's very, very likeable that it will come to America because of probable low japanese sales. It's also true that Tales of games don't sell well on America either, but the latest Tales of game to be released in America, Tales of The World: Radiant Mithology, has sold over 80k units on the PSP, more than double the units the prior Tales of game sold, Tales of The Abyss, on the PS2.

Tales of games have shown that they sell extremely well on consoles lacking in the JRPG department. Just look at Tales of Symphonia. That's also why Tales of Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk is surely going to be a hit, with my lowest expectations at 700,000 worlwide, and my highest expect. as high as 2 million worldwide. The reason? The Wii, like the Gamecube, is severely lacking in the JRPG department right now. When Tales of Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk hit Japan, it'll sell wonderful, perhaps even beat Tales of The Abyss over there! (550k first week).
The same is aplicable on the Xbox 360, but to a lower extent. The Xbox 360 actually has more JRPGs than the Wii. Still, it's not a big number of JRPGs. When Tales of Vesperia hits the Xbox 360 on Japan I expect sales of at very least, 100k lifetime. But I think it's way more likely to hit 150k over there. Why? It's Tales of, not a new IP like Blue Dragon, Lost Oddyssey, Eternal Sonata or other JRPGs. In America, it's likely going to be a mini hit too (does that even exist?), because it should be 2009 by the time it comes here, and if ToS: KoR delivers, Tales of will rise to popularity again and as a consequence ToV will sell very well. However it's not going to be as much as a hit as Tales of Symphonia: Knights of Ratatosk. I'm sure it'll hit 500k worldwide at least, with my highest expectations being just short of 1m. All of this is with it just being an Xbox 360 exclusive, if it goes to the PS3 it's more than likely to sell over 1 million.

Huff...well, what do you guys think?
