I'm sure you are kidding about the "and/or life part" but him quitting SE would be a godsend. Maybe they would put someone in charge of Final Fantasy that knew what the hell they were doing.

The last time I heard he is not in charge at Final Fantasy at all.  Kitase and etc not Nomura.
