The "Christian values" would refer to the foundations on which Western civilization has grown. They are Jewish, Christian, Roman and Greek or so.
Our modern values are about equality of man and women, free speech, democracy, human rights, etc.
They can sometimes differ from Eastern or Middle-Eastern values.
