Yeah, he only got 17 years for four murders and five kidnappings, he got out of jail last year.

I pity you. This is probably the most outrageous thing I've heard all day. In a way the death penalty would've been better than this outcome (as much as it pains me to say it).

It was extremely outrageous for the population here in my country as well. There were manifestations against his release and when he got out, he had to be sent to his house with a couple of policemen and was protected by the police for a couple of months.

Unfortunately our justice is way too meek in this kind of cases. Heck, we're still judging a pedophilia case in an institution, which trial begun on 2004. Most of the accused will only get one year penalties and the biggest penalty is going to be no more than ten years. Taken in account that more than 100 children during a span of 30 years were abused in that institution, this case has sicken the public opinion to no end.
