Sony - Mag with Move - View Post

Sounds like another fail for motion controls.   I recently tried the Move at a retail store, I played Ping pong and the sword battle and found it unplayable.  The onscreen animations depicting what i should be doing and the move itself seemed very akward and broken at best.  It seemed to have the exact same problems the wii has.

no that's not true, either your controller was out of calibration (not calibrated correctly), or you was just doing it all wrong on gladiators as i know that is gesture based, table tenis is 1:1 and it takes time to get used to if, you was watching the characters, you was doing it all wrong, focus on the ball and you may find it easier to hit after you have tossed the ball, the animations are fine.

if you was hitting it like you use a wiimote that is where you was going wrong btw, you have to do the proper move as you would in real life, follow it through, no wrist flicking, i have got up to gold on table tennis itself, not to mention many others on here have said it can be a little tricky to get used to, but that is because it's so precise, you have to improve upon your own abilieites to be able to play on this game, wheras wiimote is easy and under precise
