Nintendo software sales are reliant on what they bring to the console. Each Nintendo machine usually brings something new to the table. This new element is usually a product of necessity for their games. If Nintendo was 3rd party then their games would be wearing a straight jacket in regards to design.
Their games would likely do worse on other consoles because of this. So they should stay in the hardware biz or just get out.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
